President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (aka 'SBY') sworn into office in Jakarta:
Likely the most positive development in the democratic process in the past several years, especially among Islamic countries. Indonesia is the world's most populous Islamic country, and the 3rd largest democracy in the world.
